"We had a crisis situation of having to sell our parents' home in a hurry, and we needed a lot of help. We knew it was a very special, but unusual house and it was not in prime condition. We were nervous about it sitting on the market for a long time, and had no idea where to begin. Jen knew how to present the house in just the right way to find the perfect buyer, and she knew exactly what we should spend money on and NOT spend money on to get it ready for the public. She walked us through each step, educating us on what we needed to know, answering all our questions in a super responsive way, and bringing in her amazing contacts to manage all the pieces of the puzzle, so we didn't have to. With a savvy plan to stage and photograph the house and market it to the mid-century modern crowd, our house sold faster than we ever imagined (after the first weekend of open houses). Jen knew what to do to strategically manage the competing offers, and we ended with the perfect ending -- a buyer willing to pay over asking price because it was their dream home and they wanted to restore it to its former glory. "After my father passed away last year Jen was instrumental in helping us get the house ready to sell. She has extensive knowledge and understanding of this market. She was also very understanding of our personal situation, helping us get through this difficult time. Jen was referred to us by a few friends and honestly, she saved our sanity! Not only is she super fun as a person and chock full of local knowledge, she was super diligent and ON IT every step of the way through our super complicated, sticky, out-of-town purchase. She went above and beyond to show us a huge pool of homes via video chat and in person, and helped us navigate the crazy land of multiple competing offers when our hearts were broken and we lost, over and over again. She protected my interest, especially when it came to multiple offers and researching my Townhouse HOA financials and viability. She draws from her years of experience in different markets. She followed up with the other realtors and loan officers to move through the process as quickly as we could. Jen is truly one of a kind and an absolute gem. We feel like we were so lucky and spoiled to get to work with her. Jen answered about a zillion questions and was patient with us as first time homebuyers in a really tough market. She’s so knowledgeable about what feels like literally everything and shared thoughtful, candid feedback with us throughout the process including watching out and encouraging us to stay away from properties that ultimately weren’t right.
